Adult Learning Opportunities with Great Plains Theological Studies

This spring another adult learning event will be offered along Highway 12.  It is designed for people who want to:

  1. deepen their theological and scriptural knowledge     beyond brief Sunday morning Bible studies; or
  2. prepare themselves to help provide more seasoned worship, teaching, or preaching leadership in their congregation or area congregations.

The spring semester features five classes and one retreat.  Identical classes on “The New Testament, the Story Continues” will happen at two locations:

Bowman Lutheran
Sun., Jan. 24, 3-5 p.m.
Sun., Feb. 7, 2-4 p.m.
Sun., Feb. 21, 2-4 p.m.
Sun., March 6, 2-4 p.m.
Sun., March 20, 2-4 p.m.
Hettinger Lutheran
Tues., Jan. 26, 7-9 p.m.
Tues., Feb. 9, 7-9 p.m.
Tues., Feb. 23, 7-9 p.m.
Tues., March 8, 7-9 p.m.
Tues., March 22, 7-9 p.m.
An overnight retreat on “The Revelation to John” will be held at Reeder on April 8-9.  Cost of $100 per semester includes materials and organizing.  As before scholarships are possible.  Local pastors will lead the program and mentor participants.
